Privacy notice
BCIA interest list
This notice explains how information submitted through the BCIA interest-list form is used. The data controller is Dora de Almeida Prado, operating as Behavioural Intelligence | BCIA.
What is collected
Your email address, your first name if you choose to provide it, the area of BCIA you are most interested in, and limited information identifying where you found the form. The date and wording of your consent are also recorded.
Why it is used
This information is used to send the BCIA correspondence you requested, to keep a record of that request, and to understand which subjects are relevant to subscribers. The basis for sending these emails is your consent.
Storage and sharing
The list is stored within the website’s hosting infrastructure. Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate the website or deliver the emails, and is not sold.
How long it is kept
Your information is retained while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, a minimal suppression record may be retained where necessary to ensure that you are not added back to marketing correspondence by mistake.
Your choices and rights
You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe option in a BCIA email. You may also ask to access, correct or erase your information, or raise a concern about how it is used.
Contact
For privacy requests, contact dora@doraprado.com. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
